The study conducts a review of the database of the Norwegian Public Road Administration's accident analysis groups (AAG). The database provides an overview of the number of traffic fatalities, their characteristics and contributing factors. The purpose of the review is to find out what potential for further research lies in this data source, and thus contribute to the best possible knowledge base for the design of traffic safety measures and traffic safety policy.
